Our Services

Dampness quickly makes its way all the way to deep within the structure, yet takes weeks or even months to evaporate back out.  Rather than letting it cause progressive destruction all that time our services get everything clean and safely dry in a matter of just a few days.  We follow IICRC guidelines to create a work plan tailored to your particular situation covering the building (including any basement or crawl space) and its inner structure along with carpeting, rugs, and upholstered furniture.  The IICRC sets drying, cleaning, and disinfection standards based on

  • the extent of flooding (Class 1 through 4, ranging from a small area in a single room to several rooms with saturated carpet and wetness migrating up inside walls), and
  • the source of flooding ranging from water directly form plumbing (Category 1) to minor contamination such as from a washing machine (Category 3) to sewage backups and natural flooding (Category 3).

Flood Damage

Beyond pump out, debris cleanup, and flood damage repairs most incidents require extensive drying and disinfecting services.  Regardless of the source, after 24 hours all wetness must be treated as a biohazard.

Water Damage Restoration

Whether from natural flooding or “just” a burst clothes washer hose, water restoration requires much more than most people think.  Mopping and a wet vac simply aren’t enough to guard against deterioration.  Even though surfaces may seem dry, dampness in the sub-floor and walls can cause hidden but progressive harm week after week.  We stop that.  First, our truck-mounted water extraction equipment pulls out as much as twice that of shop vacs or carpet cleaners.  Then our refrigerant humidifiers along with industry-specific heaters and air movers pull out all excess moisture within a matter of just a few days.  Along the way our cleaning and repair experts will take care of what you can see, and our odor removal experts will take care of any smells.

Sewage Damage Cleanup

A sewage backup or toilet overflow with feces calls for sanitation specialists for worker protection and complete disinfection.  Cleaning must be absolutely thorough, and anything that came in contact with sewage must be either sterilized or discarded.  In addition to neutralizing odors we also complete transfer and disposal in compliance with all Fillmore, California, and US regulations.

Mold Restoration

What you see and can’t see under carpet and other flooring, within walls, and above ceilings can indeed hurt you.  A type of fungus, mold can grow in complete darkness inside a structure.  Whatever started it and wherever it might be, it releases irritants, allergens, mycotoxins and causes health issues that can range from mild annoyances to extremely serious.  Without proper isolation of the work area prior to mold remediation, spores along with those hazards spread easily.  Hundreds of species are toxic, and only some of those are black in color.  So our services begin with air and surface testing, and always follows regulations and EPA guidelines to the letter.  Our licensed technicians complete the most thorough mold removal possible, then further guard against regrowth and spread by applying non-toxic anti-fungal treatments and professional air duct cleaning.  We’ll also neutralize those lingering odors — they won’t be coming back after some mere fragrance dissipates.

Water Damage Repair and Reconstruction

Our water damage restoration services leave everything just like it was before.  When repairs aren’t enough we’re ready for demolition and reconstruction of floors, walls, and roofs… even a complete wing of a building.  Our skilled and experienced crews take pride in their craftsmanship, and we never use anything less than top-quality materials.  And we’ll take care of all clean up and haul away.

Floods and Fillmore CA

Since St. Francis Dam disaster way back in 1928 Fillmore California has repeatedly been hit by lesser catastrophes.  From 1950 to 2010 there were 238 extreme weather events, including 125 floods, 36 incidents of high winds, and 30 wildfires within 50 miles of the city (http://www.usa.com/fillmore-ca-natural-disasters-extremes.htm).  While your current crisis is still fresh in your mind, don’t forget to prepare for the future.  Check out http://www.fillmorefire.com/disaster_prep.htm for links to preparation and survival guides.
