Customer contacted our Water Damage Call Center. Apparently, Condensation from A/C dripping in Kitchen. Dispatch center dispatched call to our Mitigation Specialists. Upon arrival Mitigation Technicians inspected Kitchen area. Found water had dripped all over Kitchen cabinets (upper) causing contents stored in cabinets to get wet and damaged. Technicians disposed of all damaged contents and tested cabinets with Moisture readers to find out how wet they were. Mitigation Technician found cabinets were going to have to be removed. Covered all surrounding areas to avoid any contamination or dust to damage them. Once everything covered, began to perform demo in Kitchen. Floors had been damaged as well due to dripping water and were removed along with upper kitchen cabinets. Inspected other rooms close to Kitchen and found water had gone into Bathroom tile and also Garage ceiling. Removed, and installed dehus to dry. Machines were on drying (for 24 hours per day) and monitored for a total of 6 days. Company settled with Ameriprise Home Insurance for payment. Customer did not pay anything out of pocket besides their deductible.
